There is a group of Lebanese Christians who fled Ottoman persecution in Lebanon over 100 years ago and migrated to northern Cyprus, where they started a new life. Then, in 1979, when the Turks occupied northern Cyprus, they fled again to the south. Today, about a thousand of them still live there.
Yesterday, a Christian woman from the Middle East who now lives in Canada said that 30 years ago, her family fled their country to escape an Islamized society, and today, in Canada, it feels just like her home country did back then.
She's even considering moving south.
Wherever Islam spreads, society must become Islamized, and an Islamized society leaves no room for individual freedom, freedom of religion, or freedom of speech. It dictates how society must look, think, and live, and inevitably leads to stagnation.
I’ve heard it all before, Scott, and have been researching and following and studying and debating with Muslims from around the world and reading books by experts on Islam and Mohammed and can see what’s happening in Texas and overseas in England and Germany and France and Ireland and also Nigeria etc etc etc. I’ve met Hassan and he’s a nice guy but I’m very aware of the divide in the Islamic world and how clueless westerners know of it, and it’s all so tiresome. I’ve heard it all before and meanwhile the Islamic world laughs behind our backs and marches on. They have a divine mandate, you see, and Allah is with them, as the Muslims in Texas are saying as they snicker over how clueless we all are and how easy they can steamroll us.
